Chapter Sample: Pradien 2Dreams

The sun rose over the horizon early this morning, and yet there were no buildings for the rays of sun to shine on; in fact, there was nothing but open deserts. The wind blew hard and fast that caused the sand to fly low along the ground and brushed against Nathan’s legs.

“Why am I here?” Nathan asked, bringing his hand up to his face in order to shield his eyes from the rays; however, no matter how hard he tried the rays simply seemed to pass through his palm. Also even with so much light there was no heat coming from the sun. It was as if there was nothing there to begin with. “What is this place?”

In a far off distance land, across the vast reaches of time, there lays the country of Sherilyn a green like landmass filled with overwhelming fields of barley, gold like  kernels of wheat, blue with rivers and shoreline that hosts fishermen while farms of livestock and granaries assure the people of a bounty of food, success, and moments of ease after a day of toil.
